DNA Project Match

This project can be joined at Family Tree DNA Bogle Project.

A close 67 marker match was made with a very high probability of a common ancestor within the past 8 - 16 generations. What is interesting about this family is that the earliest known ancestor, Joseph Samuel Bogle was born in N.Y. and the census shows his father as born in Nova Scotia/New Brunswick. This may not be a direct match with our TN Bogle's but certainly can put us closer to our early origins and our ancestors across the pond.

The line is as follows:
1. Joseph Samuel Bogle b. Jan 1834 N.Y. City d. 21 Dec 1902 in Woodside, CA
2. Frederick Charles Bogle b. 30 Sept 1875 in San Franscisco, CA di. 24 Oct 1935 in SF, CA
Frederick was killed by a boat injury. He owned Bogle/Anderson Boat Works.
3. Robert Joseph Bogle b. 20 Sept 1910 S.F. CA and d. 23 July 1982 in Sunnyvale, CA
